Austin Film Festival
The award winning documentary Transformer, which follows Janae's life over the last two years, was awarded Best Feature Documentary and also received the Audience Choice Award at the 2017 Austin Film Festival!
Following the film festival circuit Transfomer will air on the BBC Network in Canada, on other networks in North America and internationally, and also online.

Team Kroc keeps setting PRs!
Several Team Kroc athletes had very successful performances on the powerlifting platform this fall. First, Karissa Greene went 9 for 9 hitting PRs in every lift, squatting 325, benching 160, and deadlifting 314 for a 799 total at the APF Michigan Fall Open.
Next, Jamie Zarr went 8 for 9 with her only miss being a technical violation and also hit PRs in every lift squatting 400, benching 215, and deadlifting a huge 435 for a 1050 total at the Lexen Fall Classic in Ohio.
And most recently Aissa Galang continued Team Kroc's success of the platform again going 9 for 9 with PRs in every lift, squatting 394, benching an amazing 265, and deadlifting 402 for a 1062 total at the UPA Relentless Detroit powerlifting meet and fundraiser to benefit children with life threatening illnesses.

Ladies Strength Weekend
The compound at Elitefts just outside Columbus, Ohio played host to Janae Kroc's first annual Ladies Strength Weekend. An amazing group of strong women turned out for strength training and sister hood. Lot of knowledge was shared, friendships were made, and great fun was had by all!
